How Consent Works on Now Book It<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-67d453e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"67d453e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>When you make a reservation through Now Book It \u2014 whether directly on our platform, via a venue\u2019s website, or through Google\u2019s Reserve with Google service \u2014 you may be presented with up to three optional checkboxes on the booking form, depending on the venue and region:<\/p><p><strong>1.1 SMS Reservation Updates<\/strong><\/p><p><i>\u201cI\u2019d like updates about my reservation via SMS at the phone number provided.\u201d<\/i><\/p><p>This checkbox, when selected, allows Now Book It and\/or the venue to send you transactional SMS messages related to your booking \u2014 such as confirmations, reminders, and cancellation notices.<\/p><p>In Australia, this checkbox is pre-ticked by default. In Canada and the United States, this checkbox requires active opt-in and is not pre-ticked, in accordance with CASL and TCPA requirements.<\/p><p>To opt out of SMS at any time, reply\u00a0<b>STOP<\/b>\u00a0to any SMS you receive. Reply\u00a0<b>HELP<\/b>\u00a0for assistance. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.<\/p><p><b>SMS opt-out:<\/b>\u00a0Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. This applies to all SMS sent in connection with your Now Book It reservation.<\/p><p><strong>1.2 Venue Marketing Communications<\/strong><\/p><p><i>\u201cI agree to receive special invitations and updates from [Venue Name].\u201d<\/i><\/p><p>This checkbox, when selected, allows the venue \u2014 not Now Book It \u2014 to contact you with marketing communications such as special offers, events, and updates.<\/p><p>In Australia, this checkbox is pre-ticked by default but can be deselected before completing your booking. In Canada, the United States, and New Zealand, this checkbox requires active opt-in and is not pre-ticked, in accordance with applicable anti-spam and privacy legislation.<\/p><p><strong>1.3 Booking Terms and Conditions<\/strong><\/p><p><i>\u201cI agree to the booking Terms and Conditions.\u201d<\/i><\/p><p>This checkbox is not pre-ticked and must be actively selected to complete a booking where a venue has enabled it. Bookings via Reserve with Google<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-feceeed elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"feceeed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>When you book a table using Google\u2019s Reserve with Google service (for example, through the \u201cBook Now\u201d or \u201cReserve a Table\u201d button on Google Search or Google Maps), Google collects your contact and booking details and shares them with Now Book It to fulfil your reservation.<\/p><p>In this context:<\/p><ul><li>Google\u2019s handling of your data is governed by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/policies.google.com\/privacy\"> Google\u2019s Privacy Policy<\/a>. You can manage your Google account data and privacy settings at\u00a0.<\/li><li>Once your data is received by Now Book It, it is handled in accordance with our\u00a0<a href=\"\/privacypolicy\/\">\u00a0and the preferences described on this page.<\/a><\/li><li>If you set marketing preferences during a Reserve with Google booking, those preferences are passed to Now Book It and honoured in the same way as preferences set directly on our platform.<\/li><li>To opt out of communications or request data deletion for bookings made via Google, you may contact us at legal@nowbookit.com or use the methods described in Sections 4, 5, and 6 below.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-624c266 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"624c266\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">4.
