2. Sauma Restaurant

3. 2 Fat Indians

As the name intends you and your party will leave with tighter pants and a bellyful of authentic Indian foods. Desi cooks prepare and pride themselves in traditional cooking methods and expertise when curating each dish – from exotic flavours and fragrant spices dishes capturing the true essence of Indian cuisine. Both vegetarians and meat-lovers are catered for here from curries, tandooris, street food-inspired entrees and biryanis.

4. Lions and Tigers Restaurant 

The two-storey heritage warehouse in Fremantle moved away from the traditional take and into an innovative south Asian-inspired style offering a “modern Indian” or “Anglo-Indian” take on the cuisine. The buzzing atmosphere doesn’t lack Australian soul with the creative and playful dishes being quoted as “packed with layered and deep flavours” as well as “some of the best naan I’ve had”. This leaves you guessing what’s on the menu – sourdough naan with whipped ghee, black cardamom salt, and jaggery, Roti tacos and Goan snapper curry.

5. Punjab Restaurant
